Fall 2016 Reading Programs
Grades 4, 5 & 6 Book Club
Thursday, November 3 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Do you want to tell your friends about some great books you are reading?  Then let's START A BOOK CLUB!  Join us for our first meeting and help us choose a name for our club.  November's meeting will feature the kind of books that give you goose bumps and make you want to read with all the lights on. 

The author writes the book...and the illustrator draws!

Monday mornings at 9:30 am
Join us as we explore the work of amazing children's authors and illustrators -past and present!

Tails n' Tales Children's Reading Program
Saturday, September 17 - Registration Required.
Register your child to read with a therapy dog.  Tails n' Tales is a program for your child to gain literacy skills by practicing reading aloud to therapy dogs.  Reading sessions are free, but space is limited.  Call 267-2674 and register today.  Dogs and dog owners are members of Love on a Leash.

Mondays at 10:00 am
Activities, crafts, games, dancing, music and more.  Highlights include: Marty the Magic Balloonman, U of A Athletics Department, Apple Seeds Teaching Farm, Yoga, and Tommy Terrific.  

Ice Cream for Books! 
June 1 - July 30
Register starting on June 1.  You'll receive a Summer Read 2016 Reading Log to complete for prizes.  Logs must be returned by July 30.  

Spring 2016 Reading Programs
Kids Make & Take Program.  Easter.
March 23 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Easter word puzzles, crafts, and refreshments.

Kids Make & Take Program.  Dr. Seuss & Read Across America Day.
March 2 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Enjoy Seuss books and a food craft.
