Book club begins with an open discussion about what we are reading followed by book reviews, crafts, games and snacks.  We will be discussing summer vacations.

Build a Better World Summer Programs

Monday at 10 a.m.

Join us Monday mornings at 10 a.m. for programs featuring speakers from Master Naturalists of NWA, UA Space and Planetary Association, Habitat for Humanity and many more.  These programs are presented by the Washington County Library System and include art projects, themed story times and more.

Painting Class with Alex Cogbill

Students will create a large oak tree using metallic paints.  All materials provided. Instructor, Alex Cogbill, owns Local Color Art Studio Gallery and is a local artist.  He has 5 years experience teaching and has installed several large public sculptures in the region.  Registration required.  

Spring Watercolor Pencil Workshop

Drop-in children's program.  Supplies provided for watercolor pencil art.  First 20 participants receive an Eric Carle coloring and activity book.  

Calligraphy Class

Join us for a special Calligraphy Class with local artist Julie Rae.  This beginner's class will cover basic calligraphic lettering and other essentials necessary for creating impressive hand lettering.  Class will also feature instruction and materials to get started with Zentangles.  Registration required.

Farmington High School tutors assist students in grades 1 - 6.  Drop-in homework help is first come, first serve.  Participants should bring homework or other school assignments.
